It sort of reminds of some of the kitcars based on 2CV’s. Its a lot bulkier than those, but still, the general shape looks like it.....

When your skills don’t match the vision.
I'll give him credit for finishing it. That was alot of work.

Not sure why anyone would hand build a tractor, but whatever.

At first I though tit was going to be based off a tractor...

But ... But ... Why?????
Take off a zero, and I'd be tempted to rallycross it though.

The more I look at it, the better I like it, but
Ford Ranger?
And what’s with the old-fashioned tires?

They’re not any worse than an equivalent S-10.
I’m considering this one for rallycrossing.

True, the Iron Duke was not a particularly exciting engine, but the Ranger is bloody awful of a thing from stem to stern.

I think I’d want a rusty Extra-Cab with a 4.3.

With a RWD truck on dirt, putting the power down is the big challenge.
Disagree about Rangers. I've found them equally capable and equally tough.

I would like that as well. Those are tough to find with a stick shift though.

Capable and tough, I would not disagree. Absolute
crap
to drive, there is my complaint. Absolute. Crap. To. Drive.

I’d install a bed liner made of 4-by-12s.

You could piece one together, I should think, without too much effort or expense. The transmission would be the expensive part, perhaps $500. I’m stuck on the crew cab because the regular-cab small trucks can be very cramped, especially for a bigger guy like me. I’d like to be able to mount a seat where my legs can be out relatively straight.

I’m not interested in building one. I don’t have that kind of time. I just want something to race and tool around in.
Its been a long time since I sat in one, but I suspect I'm too fat for a regular cab these days anyways.
